A monthly letter from the garden and the studio
Twelve flowers.
Twelve letters.
One beautiful year in bloom.
Each month, an envelope arrives in your mailbox celebrating a single flower. Written and illustrated with love by Alicia Schwede and Quynh Nguyen, it carries you from the soil to the vase to the page.
From $14 a month in the US, or $20 internationally

Welcome to The Petal Poste
Some of the loveliest things in life arrive slowly. A bud that takes its time to open. A letter written by hand. A season you can feel changing in the garden before you see it on the calendar.
We're Alicia and Quynh, two friends who have spent years with our hands in the soil and our hearts in flowers. Alicia is the voice behind Flirty Fleurs, and Quynh is the paper flower artist behind Pink and Posey. We both tend gardens and keep working studios, and somewhere between the garden gate and the studio table, The Petal Poste was born.
Each month, we choose one bloom and share it with you the way we would with a dear friend: how to plant it, grow it, cut it and arrange it, and how it can inspire the work of your own hands, whether that's pressing, painting, journaling or shaping petals from paper.
With love,
Alicia and Quynh
What it feels like
You bring it in with the rest of the mail and set it aside for the right moment. Later, with a cup of tea and a quiet corner, you open it.
Out comes a letter from two friends who spend their days with flowers. A sheet of translucent vellum painted with this month's bloom. A page to color, a bookmark to keep, a prompt that invites you to remember and write.
Nothing to rush. Nothing to finish. Just a little beauty, made to be savored.

The hellebore, our winter rose
Hellebores open their nodding blooms in the coldest weeks of the year, happiest beneath deciduous trees where they catch winter light and summer shade.
When cutting them for the vase, wait until the seed pods have formed at the center and the sepals feel firm. Short stems? Float the blooms in a shallow bowl of cool water.
And a little secret: those beautiful "petals" are actually sepals, which is why they last for weeks on the plant.

Questions, answered
What is inside each envelope?
A personal letter from Alicia and Quynh, a vellum art print, a coloring page, a bookmark, and a journaling page with a sticker, all celebrating the flower of the month.
When will my letter arrive?
Every letter is mailed on the 5th of the month. US letters typically arrive within 5 to 10 days, and international letters within 1 to 4 weeks. Join by the 20th to receive the next month's letter. For example, join by December 20th and your January hellebore letter will be mailed on January 5th. If you join after the 20th, your first letter will be mailed the month after that.
Your plan is billed on the day you join. Because every letter goes out together on the 5th, your billing date and mailing date may not line up, and that's perfectly normal.
Which flower will my first letter feature?
Your first letter celebrates the flower for that month on our flower calendar, and a new bloom follows each month after.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Yes, we ship everywhere. International plans start at $20 a month with shipping included. Our flowers follow the seasons of our gardens here in the US, so if you live where the seasons are reversed, you may find yourself celebrating spring blooms in autumn.
Can I pause or cancel my subscription?
Monthly plans can be paused or canceled anytime. Log in to your account at pinkandposey.com/login, open your Billing page, click the three dots beside The Petal Poste, and choose to pause or cancel. You'll still receive the letter you've already paid for.
Three month, six month, and yearly plans are paid up front, so they can't be canceled partway through, but you can cancel before your next renewal. Need a little break? Email us at [YOUR EMAIL] by the 20th, and we'll hold your letters and add the months you skip to the end of your plan.
How do gifts work?
Choose a gift of one, three, six, or twelve months. It's a one time purchase that never renews. Enter your flower friend's mailing address at checkout and add a personal message, and we'll tuck it into their first envelope. Gifts purchased by the 20th begin with the next month's letter.
Do I need gardening or art experience?
Not at all. Each letter is written for curious flower lovers of every level, whether you grow a whole garden or simply keep a vase on the kitchen table.
